Coffee Enema: The Benefits & Instructions
What is the Purpose of Coffee Enemas?
Coffee enemas are used to stimulate the liver, gallbladder and colon to expel harmful stored toxins, Potent, naturally-occurring compounds in coffee including caffeine, theobromine and theophylline dilate blood vessels, bile ducts and relax smooth muscles, increasing the release of bile. This process helps relieve the toxic load on the liver, which filters a variety of toxins and free radicals from the bloodstream. In addition, coffee enemas help dislodge waste materials from the colon. The documented use of coffee enemas dates back to the 1800’s when medical doctors used the therapy to treat poisonings and in post operative care. They are a powerful cleansing therapy that can be administered in the comfort of your own home with a range of benefits including detoxification and immune support.

Ileostomy
Hypertension and/or tachycardia
Pregnancy
Acute or chronic diarrhea

More Tips:
Its important to hydrate after coffee enemas and replace lost electrolytes by drinking vegetable juice, coconut water, broth and water.
When filling the colon, it can be helpful to slow the flow by just partially opening the clamp or pinching the hose. Filling to quickly makes it very difficult to retain the enema solution.
If constipation is occurring, it may be necessary to begin by following this procedure with a warm water enema to help loosen and release hard stool. Then, follow with the coffee enema.
