Infrared Sauna
What to expect
Our Far-Infrared sauna is located in a private room. It is available for solo or tandem bookings upon your request. Infrared waves are able to penetrate tissue, gently heating the body from within. As opposed to a traditional sauna that heats the surrounding air. The increase in core body temperature results in a much deeper, more detoxifying sweat from the cellular level where many toxins are housed. This leads to pain relief, better circulation and more effective detoxification at lower temperatures. Incorporate the Far-Infrared sauna into your health and wellness program to enhance detoxification, recovery, weight loss, pain relief, blood pressure reduction and relaxation.
How to prepare
Special attention should be given to hydrate well before and after your session to replenish lost fluid. Be sure to consume electrolyte-rich foods post-sauna use, such as coconut water, cooked spinach, avocado, tomatoes, fish, nuts, and seeds. No need to bring anything additional to your infrared sauna session although some prefer to bring a bathing suit/bikini.
